Spring Sips in Bloom at Rare Bird: A Rooftop Pop-Up That’s Redefining Seasonal Decor in Nashville (Copy)

Nashville is buzzing with new energy this season—and part of that energy is literally blooming overhead at Rare Bird, the rooftop bar atop the Noelle hotel. Running now through June 30, the Spring Sips pop-up is a must-see (and sip) experience, and we were thrilled to bring the floral installation to life.

As a local designer specializing in seasonal activations and event decor, I had the pleasure of transforming this iconic rooftop into a lush, suspended garden bursting with vibrant blooms. Our goal was simple: create a bold, joyful visual moment that elevates the seasonal cocktail experience and encourages guests to linger a little longer under the flowers.

The Concept: Where Cocktails Meet Color

This limited-time rooftop activation features a palette of fresh, punchy florals designed to match the spirit of the spring drink menu—from juicy citrus tones to soft pastel highlights. It’s a floral-forward design with dramatic impact, and it’s only here for a short window, just like spring in Tennessee.

Designing a Rooftop Moment

Designing for rooftops presents its own challenges (hello, wind and weight restrictions), but it also opens the door for unforgettable storytelling. For this pop-up, we focused on scale, color, and movement—making sure the install photographed beautifully from every angle. Because let’s be honest, if it’s not Instagrammable, did it even happen?

Stop By Before It’s Gone

If you’re in or around Nashville this spring, make sure to visit Rare Bird to see Spring Sips in person. Grab a cocktail, snap a photo, and take in the views from one of the most elevated spots in the city—literally and aesthetically.
